As a Marketing Strategy & Analytics Senior Manager of LINE SHOPPING, you will be expected to develop overall marketing strategies, drive the team performance by tracking and analyzing both past performance and customer behavioral data, align with and report to all stakeholders, initiate new projects to drive performance, and improve effectiveness of marketing activities. For example, you have to dive deep into past performance to find the way to reduce customer acquisition cost. After that, you may align with Campaign Planning team and Media Operations team to revise media plans. In addition, you may work with Merchandising and Engineering team to optimize user journey.

 

As you will be part of the founding team, your primary goal is to acquire and retain customers by defining strategic movements from data, improving performance, controlling ROI of marketing activities, and being flexible with data usage, performance visualization, and customer insights. In this position, you will be encouraged to drive high growth of performance by closely working with all internal marketing sub-teams: Campaign Planning, Media Operations, Content & SNS, and Merchandising & Service Operations team. Responsibilities

  • Provide actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategies
  • Develop marketing strategies and overview plan of LINE SHOPPING to enhance key KPIs
  • Forecast targets including Traffic, GMV, Orders, Customers, CPA, and other related metrics
  • Take responsibility for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports from the overview to each sub-team
  • Analyze past performance and customer behavioral data by using database queries (SQL), spreadsheet (Excel) models, statistical analysis tools, and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Data Studio)
  • Identify key improvements by tracking and analyzing the performance of user acquisition funnels (Upper to Lower funnel)
  • Visualize and create presentations to report and communicate strategies to internal marketing and other related teams
  • Provide insights for further enhancements to Campaign Planning, SNS Development, Merchandising, Media, and Channel Development team by evaluating past performance and online customers’ behavior
  • Keep track of e-commerce market trends and competitors for building long-term and short term marketing strategies
  • Ideate strategic initiatives and manage related activities based on projects to drive performance
  • Proactively advice other marketing teams and provide prompt responses about data and strategies
  • Work closely with E-Commerce Growth & Strategy team to align overall strategies and report performance
  • Control quality of all marketing activities by giving valuable and constructive feedback to the team
  • Assist Marketing Team Lead in aligning strategies and directions with stakeholders
  • Assist Marketing Team Lead in defining business requirements for product and media channel development based on strategies

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field
  • 5+ years of work experience in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Marketing Strategy, Data Analysis, and/or Digital Marketing for an e-commerce platform
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, coupled with proficiency in data and performance analysis
  • Solid knowledge in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Data Studio, Supermetrics)
  • Knowledge in SQL (Database Queries)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing, advertising funnels, and online customer journey
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current and future digital marketing, e-commerce, and Social Commerce trends
  • Result-oriented attitude and a record of initiating projects and activities
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills with strong decision-making skill
  • Flexibility in working across marketing functions and quickly adapting to changes
  • Self-management skills with the ability to meet deadline and handle tasks with speed and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Positive attitude, pleasant and energetic personality, and service mindedness
  • Basic R and Python programing skill is a plus
